Vous m'habitez infiniment
Vous m’habitez infiniment (You always reside in me) is a series of diptych paintings on paper, mirror and slate. These fragmented figures hold double identities – the ones before and after the pictorial rearrangement. These double existences are enhanced by the diptych format, emphasizing the duality of time and space. Traces of passing time and transformation of space are employed on the mutations of faces. Almost painfully, these fragmentations imply the inevitable and incessant loss of self.
